Two days after the death of Love Johar (28), a resident of Sonepat, who was allegedly murdered following an altercation after sending a message on WhatsApp group, the Sonepat police are still clueless about the whereabouts of the accused.

Sonepat Superintendent of Police Satinder Gupta has constituted four teams comprising two Special Investigation Teams (SITs) to arrest the accused.

"Love was killed after an altercation over the sending of a post on WhatsApp group. Efforts are being made to nab the accused. Our teams are out to arrest them," he added.

The police have registered a case against Dinesh alias Bunty Johar, his brothers Rakesh and Mahesh, Bunty's sons Shivam and Jatin and Bunty's wife Geeta under Sections 302, 148,149 and 34 of the IPC, Narinder Kumar, SHO, Civil Lines, Sonepat.

Love Johar had mistakenly shared a photograph of his family having dinner on the WhatsApp group which was meant for Johar community of the city, instead of the family group named 'Johar Family'.

Ajay, brother of the deceased, said, "There are two WhatsApp groups -- one for the family members named as 'Johars' family' and second one for the Johar community members living in the city to connect with each other.

"We were having dinner on Sunday night and had clicked a photo of the family, which was accidently shared on the group of the community instead of the family, due to which Dinesh alias Bunty started an argument in the group and later asked us to come to his home to discuss the issue," Ajay said.

He added that he along with Love, cousins Monu, Kamal and Umesh went to Dinesh to discuss the issue, but the along with his family members allegedly attacked them leading to death of Love on the spot. Monu, Kamal and Umesh were injured in the attack.

"There was nothing wrong in the photo, but it was impatience that led to this tragic incident," the SHO said, adding that, "We are trying our best to arrest the accused."
