Policy for regularisation of nursing homes amended

Chandigarh, April 29

The Haryana Government has amended the policy for regularisation of existing nursing homes operating from residential premises and grant of new nursing homes.

While stating this here on Wednesday, Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain said as per the amendment, the policy for regularisation of nursing homes would be applicable in the core area and residential, industrial, public and semi public zones as per the zoning regulation of the development plans. The new permission for nursing homes would be given only in the core area. Outside the core areas, the permission would be given in accordance with change of land use policy and as per zoning regulation of the development plan.

She said that area of the plot size should not be less than 350 square yards for hyper or high potential zone and 250 square yards for medium and low potential zone. The maximum upper limit for regularisation would be 750 square yards in case of hyper or high potential zone and 300 square yards for medium and low potential zone. — TNS
