Kurukshetra, April 29

A local court has sentenced three drug peddlers to four-year jail after finding them guilty in an NDPS case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Rakesh Singh also imposed a fine of Rs 40,000 on the convicts.

Mangal Singh, Madan Lal and Hardyal Singh were arrested in May 2015 on the charge of peddling poppy husk. The Kurukshetra police had recovered 14-kg narcotic from the possession of Mangal and Madan.

Hardyal was found guilty of providing poppy husk to the two.
