Doctor couple booked on murder charge
Yamunanagar, May 30
The police have booked a doctor couple of a private hospital here on murder charge after an employee was found dead in the hospital on Tuesday night.
The deceased Nisha (18) worked as a maid (caretaker) at the house of the accused Meenakshi and her husband Ajay. In her police complaint, the victim’s mother Sushila of Hamida Colony in Yamunanagar claimed her daughter was employed by the accused in August 2017. She alleged that Nisha was harassed, beaten and killed by the couple.
Sources said the body of the girl was found hanging with a ceiling fan in a room of the house, which was situated on the first floor of the hospital building at Kamani Chowk in Yamunanagar.
The body was handed over to the kin of the deceased after a post-mortem examination.
The couple has been booked under Section 302 of the IPC. — TNS
