Dyal Singh College gets nod for BA (Hons) in political science

Kurukshetra, June 1

Kurukshetra University has allowed BA (Honours) in political science at Karnal’s Dyal Singh College.

Prof Rajnish Sharma, Dean, Colleges, said the college had been permitted to admit 40 students under the self-finance scheme (SFS). He said a university team would soon inspect the college campus to complete certain formalities.

Meanwhile, head of the department of the college, Dr Kushal Pal said in the absence of honours in political science in Karnal and its adjoining districts, students had to go to Delhi or Chandigarh for admission. — TNS
