Students honoured for performing well in Class XII

Ambala, June 1

The district administration on Friday honoured over 300 students of the district who secured first place in their respective schools in the arts, commerce, medical and non-medical streams in Class XII.

Deputy Commissioner Sharandeep Kaur said the only way to achieve success in life was through hard work. She called upon the students to set their goals in life and work hard to achieve them.

She called upon the students to plant a tree to celebrate their achievement. She also instructed the District Education Officer to provide career guidance book ‘Lakshya’, published by the district administration, to the children. The DC also advised the students to choose their career according to their interest. — TNS
