Yamunanagar, June 29
The police arrested three persons in connection with the murder of jeweller Sanjeev Kumar Khanna on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kalia said the accused had been identified as Yogesh, a jeweller; Rohit Kumar, working in a gaushala in Jagadhri; and Gladman alias Shunti, a bag maker.
He said they would be produced in court on Saturday and the police would seek their remand.
The trio allegedly killed Sanjeev over a monetary dispute on Wednesday night and thrown the body in a field at Rajpura village of Ambala district.
The body was found on Thursday morning. The SP said that as per the post-mortem report, there were 11 injury marks on the body. — TNS
