Hisar, June 29
The Hansi police on Friday arrested 12 persons, all residents of Puthi Mangal Khan village, in connection with an assault case.
Uday Bhan, SHO, Hansi City, said the police arrested the accused after identifying their involvement in the incident that occurred on Tuesday night. Three more accused, who were admitted to hospital, would be arrested after they were discharged, the SHO added.
Residents of Puthi Mangal Khan attacked residents of Dhani Peeranwali when the latter were drawing water from a canal to fill their waterworks. About 12 persons were injured. — TNS
